Best thing since the wheel
This is the best invention since the wheel. Well, for those who cannot stand trailing cords. I only use one side of the earphones while driving (permitted where I live), and so many times I have stepped out of my car and stepped on my earphones, or found them dragging in water. Now, I wrap and go with confidence.

I was worried about the shield picking up dust; no problem there, it cleans easily.

The downside is that it ate my earbuds (I do not use the earphones which came with my iPod). The "pocket" which houses the buds is so tight that when I tried to extract the buds, the cord came up and left the bud! I was sorry because they were good quality buds. But, I hate dangling cords, so I quietly replaced the earbuds and worked my way around that little challenge.

I will have this product until they come up with wireless earphones for the iPod Touch.

this rubber shield is useful. I found it hard to keep the head phones safe till I got this one. you can keep your ipod and its head phones in one place. I remember once my ipod fall on the ground without being scratched or damaged. it depends on the height it falls from but I will guarantee that you won't have your ipod been scratched

Greatest case I have ever owned!
If you have an ipod touch then BUY THIS CASE!!!!!!!!

This case went through hell at my house a few days ago. We just got a new puppy and she decided that my ipod looked like the perfect chew toy as it was on our coffee table (She's a standard lab and poodle cross). She got it, she chewed it and I was devastated until I removed the case and the surface shield. There wasn't a mark on it at all!!! The surface shield had to be tossed and the case was a little worse for wear but it did an absolutely great job! I highly recommend this product. I had no problems with installation and the only complaint I can even think of is that my headphones didn't fit the cord management thing exactly. The still fit just not perfectly.
