This was given as a gift to me for Mother's Day, and what a great gift it is! The video is clear, and so much smoother than I expected. The capacity is huge! I have several movies loaded, and all my favorite music. It's small enough to take everywhere with me. I'm eating my words of only a few years ago when my sons got their iPods. I love this Nano!

4 gb Nano Ipod
Fantastic. Enough memory for me and excellent sound. I did find the provided ear pieces uncomfortable. I matched the unit to a Sony set ($39.95 from Amazon) and it was worlds better on my ears.

My Grandson son said it was "scary" that Grandparents were getting Ipods!!

Love my "pod"!
As a replacement for an older iPod with a standard hard drive, the Nano is perfect. I use it mostly for holding background music for work and books on tape borrowed from the library. It's perfect for that. The sounds is terrific and I can easily feed sound to my automobile's cassette adaptor for in-car playing. The controls are intuitive, the screen color is great and the display of album covers is fun. No drawbacks to the device itself; it has played flawlessly (except for some skips on one audio book CD, which seemed related to the CD and not the iPod (knock on wood!). The device itself is light and very thin and easily fits my shirt pocket. Gotta fight the temptation to set it down and lose it! The flash drive, with no moving parts, will (we hope) make the device long-lived and durable. At less than $150, the price was right as well. If I had a few more bucks, I would have sprung for the 8GB model, but the 4GB model still holds plenty of albums and several audio books as well. With luck, it will last longer than my previous iPod, which had warranteeable battery problems, then died of unnatural causes, giving the Apple folks (damn them!) an excuse not to replace it.

My only complaint is about the built-in Klondike solitaire game. First, it's very addictive, which (granted) is my problem. But it also comes with exactly one soundtrack of strip club music, at least as the movies depict such music. But worst of all, the game seems to have the devilish habit of presenting very badly shuffled cards. You can't convince me that a deal of three jacks and three sixes is random. Hands like this are impossible to beat, and the scoring system is a bit rudimentary, only counting cards placed on the aces, not those flip up on the columns. And color me paranoid, but the more you win, the easier the hands get. Make mistakes, and you get lousy hands.

Perfect
I've had my 80 GB Classic in this thing for over a year with absolutely no problems. I take it everywhere and the case and iPod still look brand new. This thing isn't going to protect your iPod from careless abuse, but it does offer sufficient protection for ordinary use.

Outstanding Product!
Well, I received an iPod for my birthday. Before this case, I have used it on and off whenever the mood for music struck me. For a long time now I've only had the pouch that came with the iPod. Ever since the pouch became dirty and brittle at the edges, I knew a replacement was needed.

This case is actually very handy. A smooth "leather" surface keeps scratches away from the iPod surface, while a weak magnet keeps the flap closed. (i think it's a magnet because other metals are attracted to it, but it hasn't interfered with my iPod nor other electronics, thus far). The hole for the touch-wheel does not diminish your game play of vortex or bejeweled. I feel safe with it at my side, and now the mood for music strikes me more often than it used to.

I can think of two things that discount the coolness of this case. One, the edges are exposed, slightly. Although, I can not think of any scenario where this would be bad, except when you are going crazy with music, thrashing the air with a your fists and your iPod. Two, the surface feels nice and smooth, but it also feels like wear-n-tear could very easily set in without due care.

All in all, a very nice case.

Very nice
I have tried several cases for my video iPod and this is the one I am sticking with. It can clip to my belt, is easy to use and protects the screen and device in-use and when not in-use. The cover stays closed with a magnet but no snaps or other things to getting at the iPod when you want to and with one hand. Highly recommended.

iPod Armband
I like the way the armband holds the iPod securely. The pouch itself is missing an opening for the charge/com cable. It was a simple fix by taking a razor and creating one so you don't have to take it out for every charge. Good product at a reasonable price.

The armband was in good shape and arrived on time. My only problem was it's too big for my ipod

Poor quality product
The product did come in a timely manner which I was pleased with. The quality of the arm band appeared to be above average. I also liked the little pocket on the side for a key since I used the product in the gym and would usually need a place to put the key to my locker. I think some type of cord management feature would have been helpful. I found myself wrapping the excess wiring from my headphones around the band or tucking it in my shirt so it wouldn't flail. My initial impression was very short-lived however, because less than a month after receiving the product, it broke. The plastic that covers the face of the iPod ripped and disconnected from the rest of the band, making it impossible for my iPod to stay in the encasement. I was extremely disappointed after having spent better than average money for the arm band.

Wireless Freedom!
Work great, quite comfortable over the long haul. Only complaint us that when running and wearing sunglasses the headphones "bump" the sunglasses frame. A little distracting but livable.

Fantastic addition
I have always had issues trying to work out at the gym with cords and where to put my shuffle. This product answered both issues and then some. It is lightweight enough even with the shuffle in place that you barely notice it and the comfort on my ears is wonderful. This is definitely a "must have" if you use the shuffle.

Very Good!
I really like this FM transmitter. I bought it to work with my iphone. It works perfectly, has plenty of stations, and was reasonably priced. The only thing I had a problem with was that I wished the cord was a little longer so you could put the iphone/ipod on the seat when charging or playing. For the money a great choice.

Works well when others, apparently, have not
I checked all the reviews of similar products and was discouraged. While some people liked one product or another - there were lots of negative comments about performance, static when starting the car with it in, and having to reset the frequency all the time.

Then, I came across the reviews for this product. Just two reviews and from "non-technical" folks, but all was positive, so I took the leap.

Good leap. It is well designed, works as described, holds the radio frequency that is set even when turned off, and is quiet when not in use.
It does just what it is supposed to do and lets me hear clearly.

A note - I use this with my Itouch to listen to training records - mostly talking. I can not comment on the quality for music listening.

I bought this one because of the price and it works fine. It doesnt have the best sound quality but it isnt broken up or bad at all. Its just like listning to the radio instead of a cd. But I dont have but just the factory radio in my truck anyway so maybe in a good sound system it does sound alot better. Would buy again.

Ipod Pink/chocolate Leather Folio Cameo Case
I had ordered this Ipod case from PC Universe and received the wrong item. This is understandable and can occur. I contacted the seller via Amazon and had asked for the proper item to be sent and I in return followed their return instructions. It had taken 14 - 21 days of silence before I had to contact PC Universe to inquire about the status. During this time I had a death in my family and my thoughts were clearly diverted. PC Universe first replied back honoring my refund request but for much less money then was paid for this case. They later corrected themselves and are planning to refund me the correct amount of money. I honestly will say STAY away from ordering from this company and take the time to visit a local retailer who carries Ipod cases. It will save you much aggravation. DO NOT SHOP AT PC UNIVERSE!

Perfect Protection
This case nicely protects my ipod touch & yet is attractive and compact.
Still allows easy access to all controls, etc. Perfect if you want to put in your purse or a bag without worrying about damage.
I would recommend this my 14 year old daughter has one & I also got one for my Ipod nano.

Great Case, nice price.
I just got the Belkin Folio for my Ipod Touch. It's a perfect fit. All buttons are accessible, although the center button is a little obstructed. I like the fact that it's got the flap to protect the Ipod's screen, so I can just drop it in my laptop bag or pocket when traveling. It also comes with a procective screen that you can put on the Ipod, but I still have the Mfr protective film on mine. The only dislike I have about this is the Velcro. Makes it feel cheap. A magnetic button would have been nice. Other than that, I do reccomend this.

Synergy of form and function!
After much searching for a case for my iPod touch (and repeated visits to various Apple stores in the area), I settled on the Belkin Folio. But I definitely didn't settle! It's highly stylish with beveled hexagons on the front, a soft cowhide interior, and a subtle black & brown color scheme. But it's also fully functional: it securely protects the iTouch with its folio fold velcroed in place; when open, my iTouch stays securely in place (maybe this will change over time?); and I still have full access to all ports and buttons on top and bottom. With this case I'm more than proud to carry around and show off my iPod (which is quickly becoming my full PDA!).

Kills the wheel
I really wanted to like this case - it's nice-feeling, very functional, and I liked the earbud management - however, it kills the wheel's responsiveness. I completely lose all sensitivity between 3 and 6 o'clock on the wheel. The wheel works fine outside of the case. The hunt for the perfect case continues.

Soft and comfy.
The cover is great! It's soft to the touch and is not as bulky as I expected it to be. I appreciate that it has a specific place where I can wrap and store the cord, that way it doesn't get tangled where ever I store it. The only disadvantage to this product is that it doesn't have a screen protector. I think if you are considering this product you should go for it!

what they don't tell you
The description says, "Access to all iPod classic controls and dock connector." Well, that will be true if the only dock connector you use is the USB cord. If you have a device like the Belkin dock, and want to park your iPod to charge, and use the output to feed some other audio component, that's not going to happen. It WILL NOT fit on the dock with the jacket on it. I can see where this would be a good thing to have, if your iPod only goes from your computer to your pocket, but, for me, it's not so hot.
After a couple of weeks, I finally just had to give up using this. I found that, with the jacket on, the iPod wheel sometimes just stops working.

Not Big Enough... :-(
I bought this item because after reading the reviews I figured it was the biggest Ipod armband I could get. I was sadly mistaken. When I recieved it the first time I put it on the flap that held the buckle on ripped because it was too tight. I never actually got a chance to use the product. My arms are slightly larger than average (17"). I am sure it would be good for those whose arm are medium sized.

Soft and comfy.

LAME
This is the lamest ipod case I've ever seen. It doesn't protect the screen, which is the most easily scratchable part of the ipod. Also, the cord management system is designed only for ipod headphones. I had bought this product specifically because I use non-ipod headphones and the cord is too long. But the grooves are too narrow and it doesn't lock in my cord. Not worth your money.

Great Price
If you are going to get the protection plan this is a great place to buy since you save $10 bucks.
Easy to registar
I have the I-Pod Classic and feel that it is worth it incase anthing goes wrong. I had the protection plan for my mini and 5 days before my plan ran out. It died and they relaced it. It gave me 2 more years of happy ipoding until it was stolen.

I got a 30gb iPod about 23 months ago in trade for some work I did for an acquaintance. At the time I didn't even know about the protection plan. It wasn't until I realized how much I loved this little electronic wonder that I started to worry about how I would ever replace it if it stopped working.

About 11 months after I received the iPod I purchased the protection plan from Apple. The sales rep I spoke with was well informed and very helpful. I had actually purchased the plan 11 months and 30 days after my initial iPod purchase date. I was assured that as long as I bought the plan before the original warranty expired that I could register it to my iPod at any time. She was right.

When my iPod started losing charge and shutting down intermittently about a month ago I was worried but then I remembered the protection plan. I called them up and they had the shipping materials at my door the next day. I sent the iPod out the day after and after 1 day of transit, 1 day of troubleshooting, and 1 day of return shipping I have a newly refurbished iPod back in my hands. No questions, no runaround, no hassle.


I would recommend this product to ANYONE with an iPod. These things are just too damn cool to risk losing.

Great for car stereo
If you have an AUX input and don't have a dedicated iPod interface in your car, this is a better way for sending audio from your iPod thru your car stereo than via the headphone jack on the iPod. The line-level signal is a better way to connect, sort of like the RCA cables for your home stereo, but you can't adjust the volume through the iPod; volume adjustment is done through the head unit (car stereo). So even if you have the volume on your iPod set to the lowest, you can still crank it up on your car stereo. The cable is also long enough for me to route it behind the center console and into the glove compartment, so I don't have visible cable clutter.
The only issue is that you must unplug the headphones on your iPod in order to have line-level signal send to your car stereo's AUX input, but that's the way iPods work, not the effect from the adapter cable. Also, personally, I'd prefer the 3.5mm plug being right angled, but I can always get an angle adapter elsewhere.

It works fine.
Bought this a couple of months ago and it works fine. Quality is decent (nothing has broken off or deteriorated so far) and the cable seems sturdy. Using the dock connection allows me to use other accessories that are top mounted and gives better sound when playing high quality sound files. However, if it's just a regular MP3 and is being played in a regular car stereo, the overall sound experience will be pretty much as if you were plugging into the headphone jack. In could not find this item in any Canadian stores, so Amazon came through once again. Overall I'm happy with this purchase and for the price I have no complaints.

If you are going to get the protection plan this is a great place to buy since you save $10 bucks.
Easy to registar
I have the I-Pod Classic and feel that it is worth it incase anthing goes wrong. I had the protection plan for my mini and 5 days before my plan ran out. It died and they relaced it. It gave me 2 more years of happy ipoding until it was stolen.

Hard Candy Shell for your Touch
It's a well known fact that ipods are easy to scratch, and the Touch is no exception. Apparently they are made of the softest non-lethal materials known to man. So you know you have to protect your ipod. That being said, you hate to enshroud your sleek new ipod touch in a hideous protective case that hides your trendsetting device from the rest of the world. What to do?

I'll tell you what to do. Buy this guy here. The hard plastic cover makes scratch-fear a thing of the past, and because it's transparent the innate good looks of the Touch are going to shine on through. The ipod is protected but not imprisoned. Just don't drop the damn thing because hard plastic shatters.

Disappointing
When I first got this product 5 months ago everything was great. The case snapped into place perfectly and i had no problem installing the screen protector. Now I take my ipod everywhere i go and one thing that started to happen was that dirt and dust would seep through the openings in the case for the headphone jack and hold button, this caused minor scratches on the ipod and on the case. Now because of this i would have to take off my case to clean the ipod every once in awhile and after a few cleans one of the clasps broke off. as of right now both the bottom clasps have broken off leaving it very loose forcing me to tape it together. Also one other critical flaws is the lack of shock protection. if you were to drop your ipod this case would prevent scratches but forget about absorbing impact.

Good looks, great protection
I recently ordered this case and I love it! It looks great and doesn't mask the beauty of the iPod. It adds a little weight and bulk but it's not that significant. It actually feels better in my hand with the case on. I like the fact that I don't have to remove the case to charge it. My non-iPod headphones fit fine with the case on, even though the headphone jack is larger than that of the iPod headphones. You can also reach the sleep button fine with the case on.

It's nice that they include the screen protector. It's not too hard to put on, you have to make sure to wipe your screen really well first and try not to touch the actual sticking surface of the protector. I was able to put it on without bubbles or dust but it doesn't seem to stick well around the very edges. I tried to peel it off at the bottom to fix it a little and now there is a large section at the bottom which won't stick anymore. Oh well, with the case on, you can't really tell. I found a trick to open the case without scratching it: use a small coin, a dime is fine, take the cloth that comes with the case and drape it over the slot as a barrier between the case and the coin. I have opened the case many times already and have no scratches. The case has such a tight fit that I had a weird issue with some marking that looked like trapped moisture or oil between the back of the iPod and the case. I kept wiping the iPod and the case and even used rubbing alcohol to remove any oil and I still had that marking. It annoyed me so I put a little sticker on the back of the iPod and it fixed the problem. The back of the case is not perfectly clear, it's clouded, but you can still see through it. This also means that if there is any dust under the case, you can see that too. Just be sure to wipe your iPod really well before putting the case on.

Are you kidding me with the screen protection?
First of all, I have been looking for the perfect ipod armband case for the gym and my active lifestyle, and I have NOT found any.

This is almost perfect. The material is top-notch and still allows access to every function, and most impressive is the wheel cover protection that works fine. The top edge is attached so my iPod will never again slide out from the top whenever I am doing pull-ups.

However, the screen protection is a joke. There is no screen protection. All you get is a piece of sticky plastic to put on your ipod and you slide it in there. So you can only attached the sticky plastic one time, and that is your only screen protection, if the plastic comes off you are out of luck, that unless you buy another one of this.

Another thing I was hoping for was a key chain belt clip so I can just clip it to my belt whenever I am not at the gym and wearing a coat.

These are just simple things the manufacturers never considered. They never combined all these together to one ipod case.

It is like every ipod case is missing what the other ones have.



Wheel protection area needs improvement
I love this product because of the great fit on my Ipod classic. I love the fact I can use the armband or take it off. It feels great in my hands, it's lightweight and takes up very little space. I like that it comes with a plastic clear cover for the screen, but the cover is a little too big for the screen. Regardless, I'm using it and it doesn't seem to matter much at all.
However, there is one downfall: the area covering the wheel is too thick, and only worked intermittently. It didn't matter if my finger was warm or cold, or how much pressure I put on the wheel. So,I ended up cutting out that area with a scissors. Works great now, but not as advertised!

DLO transpod
haven't had a problem with this ipod transpod. love not having any cords to worry about. didn't even need to use the extender arm, even tho my lighter plugin is in an odd spot. get pretty good reception.

DLO Transpod works very well.
I recently purchased an iPod Touch and since I have an older vehicle without a direct input jack to my radio I needed a way of playing the iPod through the radio. I had an old cassette unit that worked fairly well, but the Transpod provides a much better sound. It also overrides the iPod volume and transmits at a set volume. The sound level is controlled only by the radio which I think is easier than trying to fool around with both volume controls. It comes with an amazing array of connectors to attach it to your cigarette lighter or 12V power port. This also provides flexibility so it will fit any dashboard layout. I also like the fact that it charges the iPod too. I would definitely recommend this product.
